“Our job as parents is to put ourselves out of a job.”
– Julie Lythcott-Haims
Meet an acclaimed author, Stanford University’s former Dean of Freshmen and fellow parent, Julie Lythcott-Haims, to learn how parents can help their children take charge of their lives with competence and confidence.
Drawing from extensive research and her experience, the author will also share how to avoid the well-intentioned hyper-involved parenting that actually limits rather than promotes children’s ability to become self-reliant adults.
Parents and educators of children of all ages will benefit from Julie Lythcott-Haims’ message. It is never too early to help children build the skills necessary to become thriving adults!
